Who Should Apply
Applicants to the LPN program must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a high school diploma or GED certificate
- Be at least 17 years of age on or before the first day of class
- Pass the LPN entrance examination (a free, one-week entrance exam prep course is offered)
- Complete a criminal background check (required by N.J.A.C. 13:37-1.8(h))
- Complete a drug screening prior to the start of clinical rotations
- Provide documentation of required immunizations and health screenings
- Obtain current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) prior to first clinical rotation
No prior medical experience is required.
Important Disclosure: Pursuant to New Jersey law, a criminal background check is a prerequisite for nursing licensure. Individuals with certain criminal histories may be barred from licensure by the New Jersey Board of Nursing regardless of program completion.
Tuition and Financing
The LPN Diploma Program has a total tuition of $15,300 (flat-rate, all-inclusive). Please note that the LPN program is not eligible for Title IV federal financial aid.
